bukchon hanok village

Time for some cultural post again - Bukhon Hanok village. It is a residential area in the middle of Seoul with lot's of Korean traditional style houses, so called Hankos, that serve as restaurants, cafes, guest houses or cultural centres nowadays. It was a nice stroll through this district but with lots of Asian tourists, mostly Chinese. Since we can't really tell the difference between Korean and Chinese people we sometimes feel like the only tourists and make jokes about them being locals. Even though they're obviously not. It was once again interesting to see such an old urban environment in the middle of the modern city of Seoul. <3
