hong-dae

Saturday night we've been to Hong-dae for the first time. Sue my dear friend from Seoul has suggested the area to go dining and then partying. The district is amazing, we were in seventh party and food heaven. When we got there by tub at 7 pm we had to queue to get out, it was so crowded. On the streets we found the exact same situation. Young people everywhere, no easy getting through but a great atmosphere. For dinner we went to a Korean fish and seafood restaurant which was amazing. The food was great, just like always here in Seoul. After dinner we went to a place called "playground" where many live bands are playing and young people are having beers before clubbing. We've seen an amazing group of drummers that night. As it way quite cold we soon went to pub for beers and drinks and then finally to a club. In the club there were almost no other western looking people. Believe me one thing though, Koreans know how to party! After several drinks, which are really quite affordable compared to Switzerland, we needed food and went to a street food stand. Again, the food was incredibly delicious and we only paid nine swiss francs for three dishes. At 5:30 am after one long, crazy night we went home by subway. What can I say, I love Seoul so far and I can't wait for more partying in Hong-dae. <3
