Everyone who knows me, knows how much I appreciate a good meal. Thanks god, I love Korean food, it's actually one of the things I enjoy the most here, I admit it. They have such a diverse kitchen that after 4 weeks I have probably tried 30 different dishes, yet there are many new things to try and I'm just not getting tired of it. Of course I have cravings after my usual food every now and then. Mostly after oat meal, fresh salad, nuts, avocados, mangos and all the healthy stuff I eat so much of. The variety in fruit here is rather low and they are quite expensive and whenever you order a salad you'll probably get it with a sweet salad sauce. We've lately been to an Italian Style restaurant where the salad sauce tasted like vanilla cream - no joke! This is was my culture shock. However Korea has plenty of things to offer. Some of my favourite dishes are BBQ, seafood pancakes and Mandu with lots of honey Makgeolli at the weekends. Many people have asked me what the Koreans eat before I left, so here you go with some impressions of their amazing kitchen. <3
